Cecil Rolt Cecil Henry Rolt, MA (Oxon) was an eminent Anglican clergyman in the first half of the 20th century. He was born into an ecclesiastical family〔His father was the Rev. H. G. Rolt Vicar of Harbledown, Canterbury - “Who was Who”1897-1990 London, A & C Black, 1991 ISBN 071363457X〕 in 1865 and educated at Winchester and New College, Oxford.
